Welded steel bar grating is resistance welded to create a rugged, one-piece constructed panel. The bearing bars are automatically resistance welded at the contact point with the cross bars and, under a combination of high heat and pressure, are fused together to form a permanent joint. The cross bars provide a high degree of rigidity, yet retain a smooth flat surface for free and easy walking.

ALUMINUM BAR GRATING
     
Corrosion resistant, non-sparking, rustproof aluminum grating has many applications due to its light weight and high strength. It is ideally suited for use in corrosive environments and finds wide applications as walkways and platforms in sewage treatment plants, refineries, chemical processing plants, pumping and compressor stations, and aboard ships and barges.
Because it does not rust, it is commonly used in breweries, bottling plants, and food preparation and storage facilities. In munition plants, other volatile industries and areas, its non- sparking properties make it a must for safety. It is available in standard or
anodized finishes.  
   
     
Press-Locked Rectangular Bar Grating is constructed with the two close-tolerance slotted bars
bonded together (positioned every 2" or 4") using tremendous hydraulic pressure. Permanent locking is achieved by forcing the deep cross bar into the bearing bar. Both the cross bars and the bearing bars provide walking surfaces in the press-locked design.   
 
  
Rectangular bar grating in either the swage-locked or press-locked styles is your best choice when lateral stiffness is required. The rectangular bar is also available in a serrated surface for additional safety.

The center to center distance of the steel bar is 30mm. This is the mostly used steel bar grating in various industries. With bearing load is decided by the flat steel bar, this type of bar grating has minimum distances between the load-bearing bars.

Design
Our patented innovative and refreshing new design concepts, improves safety, reduces panel

damage and offers our clients real cost saving as a result. The most important feature of

this product is that the solid 8mm transverse bar is securely fixed to the bearing bar by

pressure forging, preventing lifting through weld embrittlement from continued load

application or damage in normal handling or operating conditions.

The transversal member remains immovable, thus ensuring constant apertures and stiffness is

maintained throughout the panel. This results in a neat and safe product. Where our

standard fixing clip and bolt are attached to the transversal member, no dangerous

protrusions are prevalent. Our range is designed in accordance with DIN, BS and NAAMM

standards. Approval certification is available on request.

Drawing Office
A fully equipped CAD drawing office is able to undertake shop detailing and layout drawing

for fabrication and erection purposes. Electronic Data Transfer (EDT) is preferred in an

FTP medium for files larger than 1MB using a DXF format.

Safety
Plain or serrated bars are manufactured. The serrated surfaces improve grip and safety in

numerous worker environments which assists in reducing valuable workforce downtime through

possible injuries.

Load Bearing Bar: A load-bearing member spanning between supports
End Plate: A plate fixed to a stair or ladder tread for attaching to the stringer

Transverse Bar:
A member fixed at right angles to the load bearing bars to provide lateral restraint.

Curb Angle:
A member fixed to concrete or supporting steelwork at the perimeter of a flooring aree

Pitch:
The distance centre-to-centre of load-bearing bars or centres between points of lateral

support to load-bearing bars.

Kicking Plate:
A flat bar around the edge of a flooring panel and projecting above the top of the load-

bearing bars

Length: (Direction of Span)
The overall dimension of a flooring panel parralel with the load-bearing bars

Net Area:
The actual area of flooring excluding cut-out areas

 

Gross Area:
The total area of flooring including the cut out area

Width:
The overall dimension of a flooring panel measured at right angles to the load-bearing

bars.

Cut-Out
An area of flooring removed to permit pipes, columns, etc to pass through or to clear

obstructions.

Curved Shaping:

The part of a cut-out which is curved

Straight Shaping:

The part of a cut-out which is straight.

Binding Bar:
A bar or section fixed to the edges of flooring panel flush with the top of the load-

bearing bar.

Front Edging Bar:

A member attached to the front of a stair tread or to a flooring panel.

Deep Bending Bar:
A bar or section fixed to the edges of a flooring panel and projecting below the underside.

Fiberglass FRP Floor Grating:
Super floor grating is an integral construction one-piece fiberglass roving reinforced unsaturated polyester resin (FRP) grating.

This grating is typically composed of 60-65% by weight resin and immensely strong continuous glass fiber by a specially designed process that provides a property of good corrosion resistance, angular silica particles are em- bedded in the top surface of grating to provide longlasting slip resistant surface.

Continuous glass fiber roving winding in alternating layers in two directions is thoroughly wetted with polyester resin. When load applied to a grating bar is transferred to adjoining cross bars and bearing bars, assisting in load distribution on the grating providing the grating a very high strength.

The grating is non-conductive and non- magnetic, beautiful appearance, ease of installation and maintenance free.
